Doggy Bag?

It was hella hard to get out of the sack this morning. Did I mention there is nothing cute about getting up at 5am? For my first breakfast I chose to have a protein shake and a banana. The strawberry protein shakes are getting kind of played out but rest of the Syntha-6 protein flavors are garbage. I got in a pretty kick ass cardio session this morning. I lost about 3-4 lbs in water weight this morning. By the time I left the gym i was weighing 188. Of course I was starving by the time I got to work so I had my peanut butter english muffin and a coke zero. I am not sure but I think I blacked out on the way to work because at one point while driving I was sure I was going the wrong way. SMH. I am sure I have surpassed 2k calories for the day and it is only 12. I had 2 hard boiled eggs for lunch and the rest of my Cheesecake Factory chicken and biscuits left from yesterday. I didn't too much touch the mashed potatoes left over. I just figured all those carbs weren't too good, plus I am sure they made them with 50% butter.

Betcha didn't know your boy knew a lil Chinese eh? Actually I don't I just copied that from a website. Yes, I treated myself for my weekly "yes it is Friday and I made it through another week!" Chinese buffet is what I had, and it wasn't as diasterous as I thought it may be. I had a few fried items here and there, but mostly kept it to sushi. Buffet grade sushi isn't the best but it will suffice when you are hungry.

Breakfast was the same damn english muffin and peanut butter. I opted to have only one today, I was being good. Plus I had a ham and cheese sandwich at 1:30am last nite in a drunken stupor coming home from the club. SMH.

On Da Good Foot

This morning was my typical english muffin with peanut butter, but I had two. Hey, they aren't that big. A growing boy needs to eat. Lunch was subway. I had the special, 6" Italian BMT on wheat for $3.99, can't beat that. Also, I had a side of baked lays and a diet coke. Pretty damn good if I say so myself. O yeh, I bought some goldfish to snack on during the day. That has kept me from going into my random starvation modes. I refuse to count them for the purpose of this blog so we will say I had a handful. Let's hope the remainder of the day goes well.

Taming it down

Breakfast was another mcmuffin and peanut butter. I am sure I will get tired of this, but it gives me enough energy til lunch so I am good for now. I am currently eating my lunch. Chicken salad, macoroni salad, and a banana. Not quite the optimal combination but it will do. Rather be eating a burger :(.

The Evil Triangle

Yesterday I had to drive out to Worcester to participate in the fantasy football draft my league was having. I was so starving after work I thought I was going to have to take a detour and find some food. The group decided to order pizza. Orginally the order was for four pizzas but for some reason they threw in a free fifth pizza, not good at all. On my FIRST round, I had three slices of pepperoni. That should have been the end, but the pizza was so damn good. I went back and got one more pepperoni and a slice of cheese. I am sure I wasn't still hungry but the pizza was calling my name. Did I mention I had a beer too. SMH. To top it off, I didn't make it to the gym. My damn fantasy team better win me some money.

Titleless

Breakfast was from the snack drawer of course. I have recently been buying a pack of english muffins to store in my desk. Also, I acquired some peanut butter along with it. Someone in my department had the wise idea to put a toaster in the copy room right beside my cube so I just walk over and toast my mcmuffin and spread a lil peanut butter on it and Bam, breakfast. Due to my recent caffeine addiction, I have decided to put myself in self rehab and resist the urge to have a coke zero in the morning. I have instead switched to vitamin water. I am pretty sure it is just cool aid, but hey, the label says it has vitamins so ima roll with it.

Lunch was blah. I decided to eat from the cafe once again. I made about 10 rounds and decided to go with the chili and a small Caesar salad. Apparently I didn't blow my chili off too well and the tip of my tongue is numb. O well, maybe that will keep me from eating.

Dine and Dash

Had a lil Quizno's before going to see Superbad last nite. Man I love that place. I had the regular steak and cheese or whatever they called it. Was pretty good but the steak wasn't the best quality. Man the girl in there doesn't go too easy on the sauce. I think she made me a sauce and steak sub. Of course I had to get the Doritos on the side. This was a good dinner but not too good for me. I did eat it on wheat bread though :).

Guess Who's Bizac

Ok, Cecil and I mutually agreed to get the flog back up and running. So, I wrote a song for ya, wanna hear it, here it goes... Ok only people who saw In Living Color back in the day will understand that. Anyways, for breakfast I had a whole wheat mcmuffin with peanut butter. I am pretty sure I never ate a mcmuffin til I moved to New England. SMH. Whatever happened to loaf bread? I flushed it down with a Coke Zero. I have found if I don't have some sort of caffeine in the AM, my day just doesn't go very well. Ok, I got up so damn early that I forgot I had a breakfast at 5am. I had a protein shake and a banana. I'm sure if I didn't have that lil juice to get my day going, I would have passed out on the elliptical this morning.

I am sitting here currently eating lunch. Why I torture myself I don't know. I walked across the street to get something from Shaw's deli. On the way back in the halls, all you can smell is the aroma of pizza from all the lunch time meetings going on. I started to interrupt a meeting just to get a slice but came back to reality. So instead I will sit here and finish my two egg rolls and this plain ass salad with some lame honey vingerette dressing. The End!

Lunch was more like a meltdown. I had left work with the intentions of going to Burger King for like a whopper so I knew it was going to be bad. For some reason the road was blocked off on the way so I turned around and stopped at some pizza parlor. "I will have two slices of pepperoni and an order of fries," I say. SMH. I have nothing more to say!

V-I-C-T-O-R-Y!!!!

I have found what I can have for breakfast and not be starving by lunch; peanut butter and jelly. Of course on wheat toast only. I probably could have omitted the jelly but it is so good. Lunch didn't go as bad as I thought it would have. Last year, I can recall going back 4-5 times for more ribs. Well this year the food was rather blah. The ribs were semi good but had way too much fat on them. I didn't know it was possible for chicken to have as much fat on it as mine did today. In addition, it will take some white folk to burn up some baked beans. SMH, I only had a few spoonfuls of them before I realized they were the worst baked beans I have ever tasted. The salad was good, but how can you mess that up. I only had a few fork fulls though. I tried eating my corn on the cob and only got through about 1/4th of it before I realized I was too through with the cookout food. I guess lunch could have been much worse, but all in all I consider it a victory.

FUBAR

Yesterday just didn't go well from a diet standpoint. Although, I will have to say I had a pretty kick ass morning and afternoon workout. Our monthly department was yesterday so there was the typical buffet pizza setup. I thought maybe I could get away with having just two slices of pizza. WRONG!!! I was starving by lunch time since the AM cardio session wore me out. I justified having three slices of pizza by saying that the crust was thin. SMH!

My ipod went dead on me so I had to get it fixed since of course I can't work out without it. I was in the mall forever trying to get it fixed then ended up at the gym to finally do a squat workout. I had a post gym protein shake of Syntha-6. Dinner was late, like 10pm at Silver tone. I had the Jerk chicken, rice, and fried plantains. Boy that was good, but not quite good for me. The four pack I was working on disappeared with that one meal. Maybe today I will do better. Doubt it.

Ummm....

Let me first start off by saying there is NOTHING cute about getting up at 5am, especially if it is to work out. I am not sure how I did that in college. I needed a lil juice to get to going in the am so I had a bowl of honey bunches of oats. I used Vitamin D milk, I can't use that soy shit, that is just nasty. I need to switch to 2%. Workout was kick ass considering it was at 6am. I was on the elliptical for 45 minutes than I did some abs. Yes, I am starting to kick my workouts into overdrive. I got to work starving and had to get a coke Zero and hit my desk stash up for a granola bar. Cecil I see why you have to do that second breakfast, the morning workouts are no joke!

OG

Boy I was starving by dinner time. I am pretty sure I could have ate just about anything. Jay and I decided to hit up the Olive Garden. I have been craving chicken alfredo for about two months and I finally had it. Not to mention the unlimited salad and breadsticks. I only had one and a half breadsticks so I guess that was somewhat of a victory. I flushed my dinner down with two margaritas. Boy I paid for that one this morn, Jose Cuervo is not my best friend. I only finished a quarter of my chicken alfredo so that will be lunch today. That is unless I decide to take off and get sushi. We will just consider yesterday a cheat day!

Sweaty mess

Sunday my coworker Joe decided to have a going away dinner and he cooked a ton of chicken curry. Of course I got my doggy bag and decided to eat it for lunch today. He made some hot paste to put on it and apparently I put way too much on what I had packed for lunch. I was in my cube sweating like a runaway slave. As a matter of fact my collar is still wet. SMH. I just need to get somewhere and sat down.

Don't Call It A Comeback!!!

Yes, I took a few days off, but I am back. I don't really flog on the weekends even though I should, and I have been fairly busy at work. The man has been on my back so I had to whip it out. SMH. Anywho, I am officially in the 180's. Only the gud Lawd knows how long I will actually be in this terrain but I am enjoying it for now. However, my pants aren't fitting right and the shirts that use to show off my muskels are getting a little baggy. I haven't too much changed what I am eating, but rather just not eating as much. I also have figured out when you get that craving for something bad just stick anything in your mouth and you won't think about it. I was speaking of food by the way. Anyways, this morning I had a single granola bar and even though I can feel my body feeding off itself, I will try to restrain myself til lunch and just keep chugging my green tea. When my fourth ab fills in, I will update my picture. Good day.
